What if God was one of us?

It seems that the older I get the farther I stray from God. But when I find him again, I feel closer than ever. I feel as if I have strayed from God, yet I feel as if I am doing what he wills. In this last year, many things have changed. I've been dumped by my old friends, I've adapted and made new friends, and there have been many other changes in my life. I feel as if this is what God wants me to do, as if he wanted me to get away from my old friends, for they might cloud my judgement. But I can't still help but wonder if... If I stayed with my friends what would have happened. If I hadn't done this one thing what would have happened? There are so many ifs in my life that I just have to keep on reminding myself that God Will Provide.

Solitude v. Loneliness

Solitude is a condition of peace that stands in direct opposition to loneliness. Loneliness is like sitting in an empty room and being aware of the space around you. It is a condition of separateness. Solitude is becoming one with the space around you. It is a condition of union. Loneliness is small, solitude is large. Lonliness closes in around you; solitude expands toward the infinite. Loneliness has its roots in words, in an internal conversation that nobody answers; solitude has it's roots in the great silence of eternity. ~Kent Nerburn

There She Goes...

Yes, I did take the title from the LA's song, but I believe this to be especially true now. You see, there is this girl, that I am (I won't say infatuated, it's something deeper than that) stressing over. She is beautiful, smart, pretty, and everything I would ever want. I just can't get the nerve to talk to her. :/
